This training system includes the basic modules allowing students to experiment on ground-level telecommunications topics.The purpose of the system is to enable students to acquire clear experimental views of the basic concepts, and a familiarisation with the operational aspects, of work in a telecommunications laboratory.

Four analogue communications modules are included in the KL-900A system, as follows:

Oscillator frequency (measured): 450kHz, 7MHz

Second Order LPF and HPF Low pass -3dB frequency: 1kHz to 10kHz

AM Modulator Carrier signal: 500kHz to 3MHz
Audio signal: 1kHz to 3kHz
Power supply: +12V, -5V
AM Demodulator Carrier signal: 300kHz to 3MHz

KL-93003
DSB-SC and SSB Modulator

DSB-SC Modulator:
Carrier signal: 500kHz to 1MHz
Audio signal: 1kHz to 2kHz

Using LM741 PWM:

Using 555 PWM:
